Juice at Home
Here’s a refreshing and energizing juice recipe that can help you feel more alert and revitalized:
Energizing Citrus-Apple Ginger Juice
Ingredients:
- 2 large oranges (peeled and remove seeds)
- 1 green apple (like Granny Smith, cored)
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled)
- 1/2 lemon (peeled)
- 1/2 cucumber (optional for added hydration)
- A handful of spinach (for extra nutrients and optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients: Peel the oranges, lemon, and ginger. Core the apple and cut it into pieces that fit your juicer or blender. If you're using cucumber, slice it into chunks.
- Juicing or Blending:
- Juicer: Feed all the ingredients into the juicer and extract the juice.
- Blender: If using a blender, add all the ingredients with a little water to help blend smoothly. Once blended, strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.
